On this page you will see 8 examples first of the Designer Handles to show the 8 metallic finish options. Then we will
show all the same metallic cradles with the different granite colors. The designer handles have a granite sleeve
mounted over a ONE-PIECE metal handle. The one piece metal handle adds greatly increased strength to the handle. You are not pulling on the granite as with 3-piece combination handles. The Turned In Stone designer
handle is an exquisite design in natural stone decorative cabinet hardware.
Part numbers (for the handle shown) and granite names are below each image.
Part number coding works like this: TIS-ACH.NVG
(TIS) = Turned In Stone identification; (AC) = metallic color of handle; (H) for designer handle; (NVG) = granite name
, New Venetian Gold in this example.
Since we are showing the granite handles in only one base color, PLEASE REMEMBER to alter the part number in
the metallic identification to reflect the handle color you would like. Codes are: AB for antique brass; AC for antique
copper; AP for antique pewter; BB for burnished brass; BN for black nickel; CH for polished chrome; PB for polished brass; and SN for satin nickel. Satin nickel is the best compliment to stainless steel.

These are the standard granite colors that Turned In Stone purchases slab granite to cut. If you would like to supply
your own granite or stone to be used, the granite thickness MUST BE 1-3/16" to 1-1/4" thick in order to make the designer series handles. This thickness is also called 3cm.
Some pictures still need to be added and we will add them when photos are available. All photos are from Turned In Stone.

SPECIAL NOTE:
ALL TURNED IN STONE GRANITE KNOBS AND HANDLES COME STANDARD POLISHED.
THEY ARE NOT JUST LACQUERED OVER, THEY ARE REALLY POLISHED. AND NOW TURNED IN STONE WILL OFFER ALL KNOBS AND PULLS IN A HONED FINISH. A HONED
FINISH IS SMOOTH, BUT NOT SHINY. IF YOU WOULD LIKE THE HONED FINISH, IT IS VERY IMPORTANT TO STATE SO WHEN ORDERING. OTHERWISE, THE GRANITE PRODUCTS WILL BE MADE WITH THE STANDARD POLISHED FINISH.

An example of how Turned In Stone's designer handle can be used to hide previously drilled holes in your door and drawer fronts. The center to center screw hole
spacing on this handle is 3" only. But because of the length of the handle and its feet, you can hide up to 4-3/4" pre-drilled hole centers. So if you have one of the most popular size of predrilled holes (96mm,
a.k.a. 3-3/4"), then this handle can cover your existing holes. You will drill a new set of holes at 3" ctc, and it will work. In the first picture below, the handle on the right is mounted in the 3" hole
spread. The handle on the left is covering up the 4-3/4" spread. The 5" spread is too great to hide, and on the low end, the 2-3/4" spread is too close together to hide. This handle can fit 3" ctc's and hide up
to 4-3/4" ctc. In the second picture, we laid one handle on its side so you can see how the feet extend beyond the hole centers.

CUSTOM ORDERS (matching or supplying your own stone):
You can supply a small sample of your stone for Turned In Stone to match to. OR, if you would like to supply your own stone to have an exact match to your counter top, you can.
The following conditions must be met however.
In order to make any of the flat ferrule style knobs, your stone MUST BE 3/8" thick (1cm). 3/8" tiles can be used. For the 6 new diamond ferrule knobs, your stone needs to be at least 3/4" thick and up to 1-1/4" (3cm). In order to make the designer series knobs, your stone can be anywhere from 3/8" to 1-1/4" thick. In order to make the designer series handle or the custom mushroom knobs, your stone MUST BE 1-3/16" to 1-1/4" thick. These are the only thicknesses Turned In Stone can work with. For the Architectural Series, Turned In Stone needs to evaluate a small piece of your stone first to see if it can be fabricated for these designs. For the AA, AB, and AC designs, 3/8" thick tile is used. For AG through AJ 1-3/16" to 1-1/14" thick slab is used. A special exception for 3/4" thick stone: 3/4" thick granite can be used to make parts AA, AB, and AC.. They will end up thicker (taller) than pictured on the Architectural Series page. At this time, customer supplied stone cannot be used for towel bars, TP holders, towel rings, or the granite soap dishes. Big and Small mushroom knobs are now only avaialable in 19 popular colors. For custom mushroom knobs, your granite can be supplied to make the knobs.
